Mission, Vision, and Purpose

Our Mission

Our mission is to empower youth and families affected by trauma with mindfulness tools that nurture emotional health, strengthen parent-child bonds, and support healing and resilience.

Our Vision

We envision a future where youth who have experienced trauma can reclaim their vitality, joy, and wellness. By fostering emotional well-being, we aim to contribute to the development of a generation of emotionally healthy adults.

Our Purpose

Our purpose is to create a pathway for youth and their caregivers to navigate emotional healing. By providing mindfulness resources, we encourage emotional expression and meaningful engagement during challenging times

Understanding Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs)

Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) affect 34.8 million children across the U.S., impacting all socio-economic backgrounds. These experiences are linked to chronic health conditions such as heart disease and cancer, mental health struggles like anxiety, depression, and substance abuse, as well as behavioral, learning, hormonal, and immune system challenges.

A Public Health Crisis

According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), ACEs are a pressing public health issue. By raising awareness and providing proactive support, we encourage individuals and communities to become part of the solution.

“Healing doesn’t mean the damage never existed. It means the damage no longer controls our lives.”
